Rogue of the week 4.2.14

This week’s honors goes to a certain assistant attorney general.  He embodies both the arrogance of power and the dishonesty that brings.  First, in representing a regulatory agency, he made it clear that there were two sets of rules: one for the Department and one for the licensed respondent.  His rules allowed that the Department could act in any manner it chose, but that the respondent had to attain a much higher bar in his actions.  The reason why? Because the Department has the power.Don’t be fooled by a licensing authority. They are not on your side. Always consult with an experienced attorney before you discuss anything that might attach liability to you.
