Peter Hawkins is an associate attorney at Seattle Litigation Group, concentrating his practice in the areas of business litigation, commercial and contractual law, civil litigation and trial. Peter is the best attorney to advocate for you in disputes or issues that threatens your livelihood and or career.

Prior to joining the firm, Peter represented clients in areas of construction, commercial, and business litigation matters. Peter has experience in handling complex discovery and dispositive motions, trial proceedings and pleadings.  He has successfully negotiated considerable damage claims and resolved breach of contract and commercial claims.  Peter has effectively defended clients in matters involving complex legal issues, including litigating business tort claims in seven-year-long litigation ending in a six-month jury trial.

Peter’s working life has been dedicated to guiding individuals through the legal bureaucratic maze to a beneficial resolution for his clients. Peter attended the University of Virginia School of Law in 2007.  During law school, Peter was an active member of the Journal of Social Policy and the Law as the executive editor and worked closely with the International Human Rights Clinic. After earning his J.D., Peter continued to advocate for justice as he defended clients against antitrust counterclaims by way of depositions, negotiations, and cross-examination of expert and witnesses at trial.
