Important Notice RE NCQAC’s Florida nursing programs

The Nursing Care Quality Assurance Commission [NCQAC] is dealing with fall out from issues with Florida nursing programs that allegedly operated fraudulently, though not entirely disclosed to the press yet.  There have been other issues publicly disclosed: DOJ accuses former nursing school operators of selling fraudulent transcripts, diplomas | Fierce Healthcare

However, NCQAC is meeting next on August 2, 2022, to discuss this fallout as “old business” and how to deal with current actions against licensees who were caught up in the fraud and have since been licensed or who applied for licensure here: August 2022 Licensing Subcommittee Meeting Agenda (wa.gov)

The public is welcome, too, to know more.

If you are licensed in Washington specifically with an RN license, and your license depends on any program you attended in Florida, you may want to know more about what NCQAC is considering, to mitigate the issue with allegedly fraudulent nursing programs in Florida—even if it is just “old business” to the Commission.
